A novel by Paul Nash

He got to his feet and walked closer to the advert, mesmerised by it. Although he’d looked at it many times over the years, this time it almost seemed to come alive, with the waves gently lapping against the sand. It seemed so inviting, almost summoning William to go there. This time, it was not just the caption that was calling for him to go. For the first time since his diagnosis, he slowly broke into a smile. He now knew what he was going to do with what remained of his short life.

Life’s a beach and then you die!
What would you do if you reached the age of 52, with a dull job, no wife or family and having done absolutely nothing with your life and then you find out you have just three months left to live? Would you just calmly accept your fate and spend the time you have left putting your affairs in order before you die? Or would you take the opportunity to become someone else and live the life you always wanted to live, even just for a short time, with no fear of the consequences?
William Foster chooses to do the latter and steals a Ferrari California before heading off to Italy in search of a mythical beach to fulfil a childhood promise to his father. On the way, posing as the Duke of Surrey, he meets the glamorous Alice, who has dreams of her own. Can William find the beach before he dies? Will Alice find out his secret first? And is the beach the thing that William really needs to find?
“All The Time In The World” – a tale of life, love, loss, triumph, tragedy and a Ferrari (other prestige high-performance makes are available).
It’s never too late….until it is!
